Chardonnay is America's number one white wine. Christmas Chardonnay has fresh fruit flavors of apples, pear, melon and other tropical flavors along with the typical butter and oak for which chardonnay is known, leaving a long lasting impression on the pallet. Goes well with seafood, pork and poultry dishes.
Cabernet Sauvignon is often referred to as the "King of Red Wine Grapes". Christmas Cabernet is a full-bodied robust wine with rich tannins and flavors. It's dry, but with a softness and structure that lingers long on the pallet. Flavors of black cherry, plus, blackberry and vanilla can be tasted. Cabernet goes well with everything from burgers to prime ribs, steak, grilled game and strong flavored cheeses.
Moscato is the fastest growing white wine variety in America. White Christmas Moscato is a light-bodied semi-sweet white wine with hints of peaches, orange blossoms and apricots. It is fresh, fruity and easy to drink. It goes very wel alone, when well chilled, or served with fresh fruits, summer salads or sweet deserts. If you're not into dry wine - this is the wine for you!
Riesling wines can span a broad range of styles, produced in both dry and sweet varieties as well as light to medium bodied. Dryer than Moscato but sweeter than Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, it is a great wine to pair with a wide variet of foods - from Thai to Mexican to Middle Eastern, not to mention many desserts and salads. It's known for it's balance of acidity and sugar. Tastes great when served chilled by itself!
White Zinfandel is relatively new to the world of wines. It has gained great popularity since the 1980's as a semi-sweet light pink wine. White Christmas Zinfandel is fresh, fruity and semi-sweet. It has light flavors of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and vanilla. It's best served cold, but not overly chilled. Excellent with fruit salad or "lighter" meals of fish or pork.
